Spoons are made of plant starch material, a renewable resource, and offer strength and heat tolerance. They are ideal for hot foods and liquids. Heat tolerance is up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Reinforced handles of these 7" long spoons provide extra strength. Cutlery is not recommended for microwaves and is not compostable.
