It is normal for new rugs to shed fibers especially wool rugs and hand tufted rugs. Frequent vacuuming will aid in eliminating excess loose fibers. The shedding will diminish with regular wear and vacuuming. Blot spills immediately. Professional rug dry cleaning only.
