Large Venetian Mirror by Sterling
The origins of the Venetian mirror are back to the Renaissance, a time when Venice was already taking the lead in this production as well as with other glass creations. Each piece of glass is hand cut and each pattern is painstakingly etched by hand. The manufacturing techniques required to make a venetian mirror this size were not available until the end of the 17th century. This oversized piece can be used as a wall leaner or hung on the wall. The size and detail make a dramatic statement in any room.
